Prize-winning Dutch designer Marcel Wanders has created a versatile collection of symmetrical parts with sculptural elements, reinventing the century-old tradition of Delft porcelain, called Delft Blue. Each piece is an emblematic merger of the two countries and their rich cultural heritages.
The complement to the porcelain line created by the Dutch designer for Vista Alegre uses corrugation, an old decoration technique that creates distinctive creases inside the glass. The characteristically iconoclastic Wanders designed three bottles of different proportions for Blue Ming, creating a surprisingly harmonious set in line with the latest product design tendencies.
